Fine sand, long creeks, coves, flat, rocky, sunny or shady… there’s no shortage of beaches to choose from during your stay in Saint-Cast. Here’s a quick overview:
- La Grande Plage (2 km of fine sand): you can enjoy supervised swimming, the beach club and the nautical center . Would you like to introduce your children to sailing? Choose from courses or private lessons at the Point Passion Plage pirates’ club: optimist, catamaran, windsurfing, dinghy, funboard and, for the older ones, a J80 sailboat, as well as windsurfing, water-skiing, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, sofa-boarding and donut paddles.
- La Plage de la Mare: a charming cove facing Fort Lalatte that you can admire from your mobile home or pitch in our Mirabel La Crique campsite. It’s also a must for anglers and snorkellers, and an ideal spot for sunset views of Fort Lalatte and diving.
- La Plage de Pen Guen: a splendid view from the heights as you approach Saint-Cast! It is also a bathing beach between Pointe du Bay and Pointe de la Garde.
- Plage des 4 Vaulx: ideal for fishing, charming at high tide, facing the Iles Ebihens. Just a few dozen meters from Camping Mirabel des 4 Vaulx, you’ll wake up to the sound of the waves. Shellfish and mussel farming are key activities when the tides are high.
- Plage de la Pissotte, Plage de la Fresnaye, Plage de la Fosse: in the bay of La Fresnaye.
Le Port d’Armor
The Esplanade du Port de pêche et de plaisance is bustling with restaurants, bars, crêperies, tearooms and shops, 800 meters from the main beach via the Soleil Levant pedestrian link.
